One of our favorite back-to-school happenings is the "Welcome Walk". This is an evening, just a few days before school begins, where your child's teacher comes TO YOUR HOUSE to welcome you to their class! Yes, before tonight, we've never met this person. And here they are on our doorstep! Sounds a bit creepy or silly, but we LOVE IT!!! The anticipation is just too much! Who will it be? Will he have friends in his class?
So here's the answer: we know two kids in the class (not "friends", yet!). His teacher seems really nice! Can't wait for the first day of first grade!
