Today we gave Dad a break & headed to the pool. Katie snoozed nearly the entire time & the boys had a blast together. Usually we meet up with friends at the pool - GREAT for Nicholas, tough on Matthew. See, Matthew's favorite person in the world is Nicholas. He wants to play with him all the time, even if his same-aged friends are around instead. The feeling is rarely mutual. Today was great since the boys were STUCK with each other! Nicholas commented that he had a really awesome time with his brother. I haven't quite figured out the "three kids at the pool" routine. Katie sleeps... so I should stay with the boys??? Or not?? So I sit on the edge, watch the boys like a hawk, but I'm close enough to tend to Katie as necessary. It's working so far...
