Since it is incredibly hot in Texas and I am incredibly uncomfortable in the heat, I will be very limited in how many All-Star t-ball games attended. Last Sunday, Math & I braved the heat for a 9am game... and barely survived! It was SO HOT!
My little All-Star played second base and was awesome! He was responsible for a few outs and had some great hits too! Let me just say, NOTHING in this world prepared me for how serious Texans take sports! The other team's coaches & fans were yelling, complaining and demanding all sorts of nasty things during the game. I wanted to shout, "Isn't this just t-ball? 5 and 6 year olds?" Apparently THAT doesn't matter! Nicholas is very lucky to have a great coach who DOESN'T do those things, doesn't act that way. He is learning more every day & he just loves it! Yeah for my All-Star!
